Reigning champion Michael karanga reclaimed the Sigona Bowl title, the opening leg of Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series at the par 72 Sigona Golf Club.
After losing last year’s title to club mate Elvis Muigua, Karanga fired a total of four under par 212 for the title he won way back in 2023.
The Kiambu golfer started off with two over par 74 in the first round on Friday before sinking six under par 66 in the second round and completed the three day championships with level par 72, beating Nyali player Adel Balala to second with one over par 217 and Kenya railways’ John lejirma Completing the podium on four over par 220.
