Despite losing 3-1 to Michael Olunga Foundation (MOFA) former Kenya Premier league side Migori Youth has maintained their top position in the National Super league (NSL), the second tier football league in Kenya.
In a highly anticipated derby match at the Moi stadium, Kisumu, MOFA battled with home advantage to claim the three points in the 12 match of the 20 team league format.
The homeside scored through Jospeh bate, kelvin Bulimo and George Ogutu. Bate scored first in the 9th minute before Bulimo doubled the score in the 34th minute with 2-0 up into break.
After break, Ogutu scored the third in the 50th minute to seal the victory then
