Mombasa on free points against Kisii in KRU Championships round 5

Mombasa RFC was handed maximum points when Kisii RFC failed to show up in Mombasa to play the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Championships, the second rugby Kenya tier league in the country.

The hosts managed to bag 28 points without playing any match as Catholic Monks edged out JKUAT Cougars, with NYS Spades beating Zetech Oaks 21–15 and South Coast Pirates defeated Homeboyz RFC 46–24 before Mwamba RFC stunning Mean Machine 22–17.
