Nakuru Hospice Golf: Wahome Wanjohi shines

Home golfer Wahome Wanjohi won today’s Nakuru Hospice Golf tournament held at the Nakuru golf course.

Handicap 11 golfer played a total of 38 stable Ford points to lift the title that attracted over 80 golfers drawn from various clubs.

Wanjohi started well with 21 stable Ford points in The opening nine before returning with  lower 17 In the last nine.

He was followed by handicap 12 player J.K Rutto who lost by a single shot to 37 stable Ford points.

Rutto registered 18 and 19 points in The front and back nine respectively.

Handicap 18 golfers David Bwana closed the podium places with 37 (19,18) points after losing to Rutto on countback before Peter Macharia coming in 4th with 36 stable Ford points as John Mokaya was 6th with 36 points.

First nine prize was taken by Jeff Storey on 27 points while Patrick Mbuthia took home the last nine prize.
