Nashon Randiek retains Kenya Hockey Union president unopposed

Newly elected National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) vice president was Nashon Randiek was re-elected as Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) during the exercise held today at the Maxwell Church Adventist Halls in Nairobi.

Randiek was elected in 2018 and he was unopposed in his third term at the helm of the federation six 2013 following the retirement of Resham Bains.

He will be deputyzed by Elynah Wanyika Shiveka as female deputy president while male Deputy President was won by Manjit Singh Jhite with 19 votes after beating Frankline Odayo on 10.

Wycliffe Ongori retained his position of Secretary General with 24 points after edging out Thomas Onyango Olal on 7 and Gilbert Ouko Oyoo on 5.

He will be deputized by Catherine Nduku Mulwa on 24 votes ahead of Erick Tracey Kerubo with 11.

Deputy Match and Fixtures Secretary was won by Jane Nyamogo, who beat Esther Ayiecha Adolwa with Public Relations Officer going to Kelvin Michael Mwangi after edging out Joel Mburu Kamau on 29 and 7 votes.

Godfrey Odongo Bila retained his seat as Treasurer unopposed, while Moses Majiwa also sailed through unchallenged as match and Fixtures Secretary.

For the Deputy Treasurer post, Francis Munyao Kisaingu was declared elected after his opponent, James Juma late withdrawal.
