Olunga wins golden Boot

Kenyan international striker Michael Olunga has won the Japanese League One golden boot after scoring his 27th goal on Wednesday.

With one match to the end of the league, Olunga scored a solitary goal as Kashiwa Reysol defeated Sunfrecce Hiroshima 1-0.

The 26 year old Olunga has opened a 10-goal gap against his closest challenger Everaldo of Kashima Antlers.

The Brazilian Everaldo will need more than a miracle to dislodge Olunga from the top of the scoring chart as he is nursing an injury with a nasal fracture.

But Olunga is targeting 30 goals this season, therefore he has to work with the ways on how to score the three goals when they face champions Kawasaki Frontale at home on Saturday 19th.
