Patrick Matasi inks three year contract with Tusker

Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has signed a three year deal with Tusker fc from Posta Rangers.

Today, on their official twitter handle @TuskerFC_club announce the acquisition of Matasi. The club twitted “@TuskerFC_club are pleased to announce that Posta rangers goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has signed a three-year-deal to join the #Brewers camp.”

Matasi who came into limelight during the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup, will be replacing David Okello at the brewers and will be the shot stopper together with veteran Duncan Ochieng and youngster Bryne Omondi.

Matasi joins David Gateri (Nakumatt), defender Phillip Simiyu (City Stars), midfielder Faraj Ominde (Chemelil Sugar), winger Kennedy Owino (KCB) and striker David Juma (Bidco United) who have been roped in after penning three-year deals.

The brewers released Edwin Lavatsa, David Okello and Paul Odhiambo who have since decamped to Posta Rangers.
