Kenya premier League champions Gor Mahia got a reprieve when Caf extended their match against Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the first leg of Champions League.
Caf moved the tie from Wednesday to Saturday which was a reprieve for the troubled Kenyan side after writing to Caf requesting to have the game pushed back as the Kenyans were struggling with logistics ahead of the trip to Algiers.
Algerian air space is still closed to non-cargo flights as a measure to contain the coronavirus pandemic, meaning they cannot travel by plane.
The Algerians continued training while Gor are on go slow in their training demanding their two months accrued salary arrears.
