Track master Gilbert Kimunyan and upstart newcomer Joyce Jepkemoi were the winners of the 10km category during the Kass international marathon held today in Eldoret.
Gilbert Kimunyan won the men’s 10km distance clocking 29:44.1 following by Kennedy Kimutai (30:01.6) and Amos Kiptoo (30:01.9).
Targeting to feature in the 2019 world half marathon, Joyce Jepkemoi won the women’s 10km distance timing 34:50.9 ahead of Maurine Jepkemoi (34:53.7) and Loice Chepkirui taking the third position in 34:36.6.
