Rotich and Kosgei win under 18 national cross Country titles

Charles Rotich and Pamela Kosgei were crowned the champions of under 18 during the Athletics Kenya National Cross country championships held on Saturday at the Lobo Village in Eldoret, uasin Gishu County.

Coming from North Rift Region, Rotich won the under 18 6km title before cutting the tape in 18:05.2 followed by Raphael Dapash from South Rift was second in 18:10.0 and North Rift’s Vincent Maiyo rounding off the podium in 18:18.4.

Pamela Kosgei wins 5km under 18

In women, Kosgei also from North Rift won the 5km title in 18:19.4 beating compatriot Maureen Jopkoech to second in 18:34.6 and South Rift’s Evaline Chepkoech in tjird timing 18:43.7.
