Sharks, City Stars and KCB collect maximum points

Kariobangi Sharks, Nairobi City Stars and KCB garnered all the points in today’s Football Kenya Federation Premier matches played in various venues.

In a double header at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, Sharks defeated Wazito FC 4-0 to take round one lead with goal difference, with KCB in the second position as Nairobi City Stars close the podium.

In the first match, Eric Kapaito scored for Sharks after Daniel Okari opened the scores in the 33rd minute, with Kapaito doubling in the 62nd and 77th minute scored his second goal of the match in the 77th minute with Masaba sealing the victory.

At Narok Stadium, premier league returnees Nairobi City Stars beat Nzoia Sugar 2-0 courtesy of goals from Anthony Kimani and Oliver Maloba.

Back at Kasarani, KCB defeated Posta Rangers 3-0 with goals from the new signing Henry Onyango and Enock Agwanda to a goal apiece in the 71st and 87th minutes respectively and Derrick Otanga scored the winner.

Newcomers Bidco played to a barren draw against Western Stima at Moi stadium in Kisumu.

Bidco were promoted to the top league after finishing second behind leaders Nairobi City Stars in the 2019/20 National Super League season.

Bidco coach Anthony Akhulia said the draw was a fair result considering they were playing away and it showed that his boys can cope up with the pace of the league.
