Reigning Boston marathon champion Sharon Lokedi and Tanzanian Gabriel Geay were the winners of yesterday’s Boston 10km Road race held in the USA.
Lokedi, who in April won the Boston marathon title won the Boston 10km title after clocking 31:39 beating compatriot Gladys Kwamboka to second position at 31:39 with American Emily Sisson clocking 31:42 for bronze.
The results were good for Lokedi, who was 7th New York 10km race on June 7th.
Tanzanian Geay won the men’s race after clocking 28:14 ahead of Moroccan Zouhair Talbi at 28:18 with Great Britain’s Patrick Dever completing the podium at 28:21.
