USA came from 14-0 down to edge out Shujaa in the Main Cup quarterfinals of the last series of World Rugby sevens in Paris Today.
Shujaa relinquished the the 14-0 to lose 14-26 after Johnstone Olindi gave Paul Murunga side first try with Michael Wanjala converting for a 7-0 lead then Nelson Oyoo eased another try with Wanjala converting for 14-0 lead.
But Mike Friday side changed the game when Steven Tomasin made the opening try to a 14-5 at the break.
After resumption USA landed tries through Kevon Williams, Matai Letuta and Madison Hughes.
The loss means Shujaa will play France in the fifth place semi-final at 3:39pm after the Frenchmen lost to Series leaders Fiji 24-5 in the other Cup quarterfinal match.
Fiji and USA will clash in the semi-final at 4.23pm where the winner will get clinch the 2018/2019 World Rugby Sevens Series title.
