Sofapaka to seek revenge against Mathare

Sofapaka fc will be in action this weekend in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) as they reduce the gap between them against reigning champions Gor Mahia, who are in Tanzania for CECAFA Kagame Cup.

The 2009 champions who have 12 points difference against Gor Mahia and lying second Sofapaka will tackle Mathare in Machakos as they try to revenge following a 3-1 loss in the first leg.

If they are to defeat Sofapaka, Mathare will need to put up an improved performance as they have recorded four consecutive draws.

Former champions Tusker and AFC Leopards will host Nakumatt and Sony Sugar at Ruaraka and Machakos respectively, while Ulinzi Stars will face Kariobangi Sharks in Nakuru.
