National Super League side Vihiga United set up a sweet revenge against Kenya Premier League side Kisumu Allstars in the promotion cum demotion play offs today.
The Moi stadium encounter was good for Vihiga who won on 3-5 post match penalties following 3-all draw aggregate at the final whistle.
Hosts AllStars failed to defend their 2-1 lead they won against Vihiga last Saturday at the Mumias Sports Complex and Vihiga scored the same goals, 1-2 to force the match into penalties.
Kisumu scored first through Erick Otieno in the 47th minute before Dennis Wafula leveled for the visitors in the 49th minute before Patrick Okulo sealed the victory to force the game into spot-kicks.
Collins Otenda missed the second spot as Gerishom Arabe, Mark Kwasira, and Walter Oduor scored for AllStars.
Vihiga converted spots through Dennis Ombera, Mike Esabwa, Junior Adeyefa and Norman Werunga.
Following the loss, AllStars will be relegated to the NSL from KPL that kicks off on November 21st.
