Tabitha Gachia leads all Kenyan podium sweep at Guthenburg half marathon

Tabitha Gachia led an all podium finish for kenyan runners at the Gothenburg half marathon on Saturday.

The Kenyan runner was on top of the game, defeating former world cross country junior bronze medalist Cynthia Jerop.

Little known Gachia edged reigning Kass marathon winner Cynthia Jerop and Ruth Jebitok in a 1-2-3 podium sweep for Kenyans.

Gachia won the race timing 68:18 ahead of Jerop’s 68:26 and Jebitok’s 69:06.

Ethiopia’s Bekelech Gudeta was fourth (70:08) before Visiline Jepkesho and Perndis Lakapana finishing 5^th and 6^th respectively.
