Champions Tusker FC will be facing off with Zamalek in the second round of CAF Champions League qualifying round after seeing off Arta Solar today in the preliminary round at Nyayo stadium.
The Robert Matano coached side edged out Arta Solar 7 of Djibouti today 3-0 to qualify into the second round, booking Zamalek tie.
Brewers Shami Kibwana, Deogratious Ojok and Joshua Ibrahim scoring to secure the win.
Kibwana easily converted from the spot to hand the hosts a 1-0 lead with just five minutes into the match before Tanzanian import Ibrahim doubled the lead in the 23rd minute and substitute Ojok sealed the victory in the 75th minute.
The win was good for Tusker a 4-1 aggregate win following a one-all draw in the opening fixture in Djibouti.
