Tusker go top as Rangers edge Talanta in Premier League

Former champions Tusker and Posta Rangers recorded wins in today’s Kenya Premier League matches played across the country.

Tusker lacked respect for the hosts beating Ulinzi Stars by a solitary goal to climb to the top of the table position after 18 matches and 36 points.

After a goalless first half, top scorer Dennis ‘Decha’ Wanjala to earn the Brewers three vital points and reinstating their position atop the table ahead of Kenya Police, in second position on 33 points ahead of their match on Monday against newbies Mara Sugar.

Posta Rangers were 2-1 winners over FC Talanta at the Machakos stadium to climb away from bottom of the table.

Brian Chonjo was on target first for Rangers coached by veteran Sammy Omoloo before Felix Oluoch doubled the score in the 46th minute with Emmanuel Osoro scoring a consolation for the hosts in the 83rd minute for a 2-1 win for the mailmen.

It was bad day for AFC Leopards who played a to a draw against Murang’a Seal.

Under interim coach of Fred Ambani, Ingwe came from a goal down to draw against the resilient Seal at the Dandora Stadium with Joe Waithira scoring for Seal before Julius Masaba leveled for Leopards
