Shujaa, the national rugby7s team will start their match against perennial rival France in the Vancouver sevens, the 6th leg of HSBC world Rugby series in Canada tomorrow.
The match, which will take place at 9:14 pm, Kenyan time will see head Coach Innocent Simiyu take his squad to the BC Place in Vancouver, Canada.
“We have a tough pool though we’re playing France and Fiji again as well as Spain for the first time this season. It will be interesting to see how the boys play this weekend,” said Simiyu.
Speaking on his side’s objectives heading into this round of the series, Simiyu said, ” Key focus has been on our preps so that we ensure we start well and finish well, hit our performance targets early and consistently.”
“So far the players have responded well, thanks to Kim and Lamech who have managed to get them to 100% recovery after Vegas, they are eager and ready to go,” concluded the former Kenya captain.
