Victory for champions Chipu against Tunisia as Barthes Trophy starts in Zimbabwe

Defending champions Kenya defeated Tunisia in the opening match at the Rugby Africa Under 20 Barthes Trophy today at the Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, Zimbamwe.

The Simon Jawichire coached team managed to beat Tunisia 29-21 unlike last year’s 56-17 in the same tournament to qualify for the Rugby World Cup.

Former champions Namibia defeated hosts Zimbabwe 41-22.

Next Chipu will take on Namibia on Wednesday as Tunisia play Zimbabwe with final round set for Sunday April 27th where Namibia will play Tunisia and Zimbabwe hosts Kenya.
