Wafalme, the national men’s volleyball player Brian Belly has joined Partizan Tirana, the Albanian based club.
The General Service Unit (GSU) player is believed to have signed a three-month contract as the setter and will be joining other club members who have gone international that include Abiud Chirchir who now plays for Grand Nancy Volleyball club in France, Simon Kipkorir who turns up for Alibtisam club from Saudi Arabia.
Melly was so instrumental during the 2021 Africa Nations Volleyball Championships in Rwanda who beat Egypt 3-2.
Other Kenyans who have turned international include former Kenya Prisons’ Michael Chemos who plays for Tunisian side Mouloudia Sportive de Bon Salem, kenya Ports Authority player Enock Mogen who plays for Egyptian side Smouha among others.
