It was a Kenyan mighty exhibition tonight (Thursday) when they claimed top eight positions in 1,500m in the Zurich Diamond League in Weltklasse stadium.
Timothy Cheruiyot led a Kenyan podium sweep in 1,500m race, beating world champion Elijah Motonei Manangoi, Silas Kiplagat.
Cheruiyot who lost the London world championships title to Manangoi, it was a sweet revenge as they exchanged positions.
The silver medalist Cheruiyot clocked 3:33.93 to claim the title followed by Kiplagat who timed 3:34.26 before Manangoi came third in 3:34.65.
With Kenyan dominance in the race, former world champion Asbel Kiprop came fourth in 3:34.77.
