A birdie on par five one saw Philip Boit win the St. Patrick’s Iten Alumni gof tournament at the Par 71Eldoret Golf Club.
The home golfer carded an impressive 39 points net to win the title ahead of Nandi Bears golfer Elly Barno to second place as Sunjay Radia finished third.
Handicap 18 Boit played two club in one front nine a bogey in second par 3, a par in par 3 dropped three shots in 4 par 4, dropped a shot in five, six and seven parred on 8 par 4 and bogeyed in 9 par 5.
He made three pars in the back nine bogeyed fours and dropped two shots in 13 the 18.
Second placed Radia carded 37 points as Barno scored 36 ahead of Fred Njoroge in 4th position on count back.
Former chairman Hellen yego carded 35 points beating former captain Sandeep Grewal on count back aftyer securing 35 points.
