Fresh from winning Kerkeng Enterprise golf tournament over the weekend, 70 year old Solomon Kariuki will be hoping a back to back titles at this weekend’s Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) title when he ascends to Par 73 Kitale Golf club for the Trans Nzoia Open Championships.
Handicap 16 golfer will use home ground advantage to claim the title that will include newly crowned Kenya Amateur Match Play champion Paul Muchangi who became the first amateur to booked for 2020 Kenya Open, now Magic Kenya Open Golf Championships.
The golfers will be battling for the 54 hole tournament where KAGC leader Samuel Njoroge of Kenya railways Club, hosts top player Philip Shiharsy, club captain Niral Shah among others.
