Tusker failed to return to the top of the Kenya Premier League (KPL) following their draw against former champions Ulinzi Stars.
The then leaders played to a one-all draw against the visitors, the soldiers Ruaraka grounds as Kakamega Homeboyz maintained the lead on 39 points following their 2-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday.
Ulinzi’s Enosh Ochieng scored first in the 43rd minute before Timothy Otieno equalized for the brewers in the 65th minute to one a point at home.
If Tusker had won, they would have dislodged Homeboyz who have taken the lead with 39 points as Tusker remained 3rd on 38 points.
