Junior Starlets, the Kenyan national under 17 women team have been nocked out of the FIFA under 17 World Cup set for Morocco after losing to Cameroon today evening.
The Mildred Cheche coached side lost 3-1 in the second leg played at the Olembe stadium in Cameroon with an aggregate of 4-1 following their 1-0 win over Kenya in the first leg played at the Nyayo stadium on Sunday.
Avana Ze Beatrice handed the hosts a 1-0 lead before Kenya’s Elizabeth Ochaka leveled in the 50th minute from a penalty.
Tazanou Ange doubled the scored for Young Lionesses to take a 2-1 lead in the 52nd minute and Tiwa Melong made it 3-1 in the evening for the homeside
