KCB rugby triumphed against Strathmore Leos to win the overall Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) National 7s circuit at the ongoing Dala 7s in Kisumu.
The bankers needed to qualify into the semifinals to match their point for the crown after beating the Leos for the first time this season at 15-14 through George Ooro’s last minute try.
The Leos had won against the bankers 24-7 at the Prinsloo, and 31-21 at the Embu 7s, with Leos being the only side to beat them this year.
This triumph marks KCB Rugby’s fifth National 7s Circuit title, following successes in 2013, 2014, 2019, and 2023.
