Three Kenyans will be competing at the 1,500m women finals after their stellar performance in the semifinals at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
The reigning 1,500m champion Faith Kipyegon, Dorcas Ewoi and Winnie Chepchirchir are headed for the finals in search of medals.
Kipyegon won head 1 followed by Ewoi while Chepchirchir was second in heat 2 to seal the final slots in the battle for medals.
Other kenya Lilian Ejore missed the opportunity into the finals after fading away in the second heat
