Kenya Premier League champions Kenya Police FC lost at home to Mogadishu City FC in their return leg match of CAF Champions League qualifiers played at the Nyayo National stadium.
Despite losing 2-0, the law enforcers advanced into the second preliminary round with a 3-3 aggregate following a 3-1 win against Somali champions in the first leg played at the same venue.
Issa Adan Yusuf scored first in the 26th minute to give the visitors 1-0 lead before Ibrahim Bangura doubled the score after converting from the spot when Yusuf was fouled in the box by Albert Omwena.
The Etienne Ndayiragije coached side will now face either Al Hilal omdurman or Jamus in the second preliminary round.
