Wafalme, the Kenya’s national men’s volleyball team remained unbeaten at the ongoing CAVB African Volleyball Confederation Zone V National championships qualifiers with a victory against South Sudan today at the Lugogo Indoor Arena in Kampala, Uganda.
The Paul Gitau coached side edged out South Sudan in straight sets of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-23 in a hotly contested encounter to remain unbeaten in the qualifiers.
This comes after yesterday’s 3-0 victory against the hosts in the dubbed Migingo Derby in 25-17, 26-24, 25-22.
In the opening fixtures, Wafalme defeated Tanzania 3-0 in the 25-20, 28-26, 25-17.
With three wins, Kenya remains as the only nation that has not conceded any set by topping their pool.
