Former Deaflympics golf bronze medallist Isaac Makokha kept his cool on the course to claim the 2026 Tea Field Trophy, the latest leg of the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series, which concluded today at the par-72 Kericho Golf Club.
The Kenya Railway Golf Club player carded a total score of 12-over-par 228 to secure the title, finishing two shots ahead of Nyahururu’s Daniel Mwangi, who posted 230.
Ken Serem also returned a score of 230 to finish third, with Makokha emerging as the standout performer in the final KAGC event of the season.
