Agnes Mandu, the Anti-doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) Director of Education and Research has joined the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Education Committee.
Today, the ever jovial Mandu was confirmed that she will serve, after appointment for one year.
In a letter sent to her, signed by WADA Director General and Olivier Niggli and Director Responsible for the Education committee Amanda Hudson read: “Please note that Committee terms are three years, however this term is slightly less (by two months) due to the roll out of new governance reforms in 2019 which had an impact on the timing of Standing Committee appointments for 2020.”
“The Education team will be in contact with you again in order to provide you with further information concerning your involvement in 2020,” the letter copied to Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed and signed by the WADA Director General Olivier Niggli said.
