Advantaged Emerging Stars face Mauritius

Emerging Stars, the Kenya Under 23 football team carry a 5-0 advantage against their hosts Mauritius in the second leg of their Africa U23 Cup of Nations cum Olympics Qualifier.

As two England based players miss the cut into the team that jetted out today ahead of Sunday’s event Port Louis.

The youthful team thrashed Mauritious 5-0 in the first leg played at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani on Wednesday and a win or a draw of any kind will be good for the team and will face either Sychelles or Sudan in the second round.

Francis Kimanzi led charges will be working their way as the best three sides from the U23 AFCON will feature in the 2020 Summer Olympics.

As the team jetted out, England-based players Jonah Ayunga and Henry Ochieng’ did not travel after they were dropped from the team as a team of 19 players traveled to Port Louis.
