Seven times champions Kenya Pipeline grabbed their semifinal spot in a 3-2 (25-12, 23-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-6) win against resolute Bafia on Monday at Ahly hall in the women’s African Volleyball club championship.
Pipeline and Bafia both showed their technical skill with some great saves and long rallies in this hotly contested match. Pipeline played some excellent defense on the backcourt to save number of balls.
Bafia launched a passionate comeback into the match. A series of kill blocks help them back into the game. However Pipeline used the experience to win the fifth set in style.
