Agnes Tirop murder suspect Ibrahim Rotich will remain in custody for another one moth as his bail application case failed to kick off today.
Today, for the second time, the case failed to kick after it emerged that the trial judge Justice Reuben Nyakundi was engaged in Kapsabet and the hearing was pushed to April 27th 2022.
The Eldoret Court directed that the matter be mentioned on April 27 after it emerged that Justice Reuben Nyakundi was scheduled to hear that the bail application was not available.
Rotich, who is the prime suspect in the murder of former world 10km record holder Agnes Tirop will still be remanded at the Eldoret GK Prisons pending his bail application hearing.
The late Tirop had before her brutal death, represented Kenya at the Tokyo Olympics, placing 4th in the women’s 5,000m. she also won 10,000m bronze at each of the last two World Athletics Championships.
