Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has banned Kenyan athletes Emmanuel Saina and former Nanjing Marathon champion Felix Kipchumba Korir a three-year for violating anti-doping rules.
The duo tested positive Norandrosterone and Korir accepted the mistake while Saina’s sample, taken on August 18 in Eldoret, also tested positive for the banned substance.
Following his early admission, his sentence has also been reduced by one year, resulting in a period of ineligibility of three years beginning September 9.
