Athletics Kenya has moved all track and field meetings to Nairobi’s Nyayo National stadium.
After hiccups in the opening leg that were to be held in Bondo later moved to Maseno but held at Nyayo, the federation has decided to to move the second leg that was to be staged at Embu’s Kinoru stadium has been moved to Nyayo on March 12th to 13th.
But Western region will be hosting the third leg at the Mumias sports Complex April 2nd and 3rd.
The Nairobi event marked the countdown to the 22nd Africa Senior Athletics Championships due June 1 to 5 in Algiers, Algeria and Tokyo Olympic Games scheduled from July 23 to August 8.
The third and final leg will pave way for the continental championships trials on April 16 to 17 at the Nyayo National stadium.
