Former Africa 10,000m champion Alice Nawouna Aprot sent warning shots against her opponents ahead of the 2018 Tuskys Wareng cross country championships set for Sunday morning at Eldoret’s Huruma grounds.
Coming from the running family led by former world cross country champion Joseph Ebuya, Aprot said she will be seeking her Tusky cross country title back and drive home a new car.
The reigning Africa Athletics 10,000m silver medalist said she wants to stamp her authority in cross country when she takes to the field against a crowded field in 10km senior women’s race.
“I want to win back my title I last won in 2016. I have not had enough preparations because of work schedule but I am sure I will do my best,” said the former world junior 5,000m bronze medalist.
