All-Kenyan women: Lionesses, Malkia, beach Volleyball in action in Tokyo

Thursday will be the big day for Kenyan women as they take to their opponents at the ongoing Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

It will be amazing that Kenyan women led by rugby, beach volleyball and volleyball will be in contention.

In rugby, Kenya Lionesses will be playing New Zealand in pool A.

In volleyball, the Paul Bitok charges Malkia Strikers will be playing Serbia.

In women’s beach volleyball the pair of Brackcides Agala and Gaudencia Makokha will be taking on the USA’s pair of Kelly Claes and Sarah Sponsil.

1. Beach Volleyball (At Shiokaze Arena):
   Kenya (Brackcides Agala/ Gaudencia Makokha) vs USA (Kelly Claes/ Sarah Sponsil) – 3am
2. Women’s sevens rugby:

Pool ‘A’ – Kenyan times (at Tokyo Stadium):
Kenya vs New Zealand – 05.30am;

Kenya vs Russia – 1pm;

• Volleyball (At Ariake Arena):
  Kenya vs Serbia – 8.20am

Friday:

1. Swimming (At Tokyo Aquatics Centre):
   50 metres freestyle (Emily Muteti) – 1.34pm;
2. Athletics (At Tokyo Stadium):
   Morning session (3am-7.05am);

Evening session (1pm-3pm);

• Women’s sevens rugby:
  Pool ‘A’ – Kenyan times (at Tokyo Stadium):
