Double world javelin champion Anderson Peters will be facing off with his mentor, the former world javelin champion Julius Yego at the 6th edition of Kip Keino Classic set for tomorrow at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
The Grenadian thrower, who was first a cricket player before changing to javelin went ahead to bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics Games was second last year.
Peters the winners of Grenada Championships has the personal best at 85.64m during Doha Diamond League where he was third behind Julian Weber and Neeraj Chopra.
In this year’s edition, Peters is not only eyeing the win but aiming for the magical 90-metre mark
