Administration Police of Bomet (APS) Bomet has been promoted into the Kenya premier league next season following their victory against Mara Sugar in a match played yesterday at Bomet stadium.
The solitary goal was scored by Erick Juma as the leaders bagged 68 points to gain automatic promotion.
Second placed Fortune Sacco’s promotion was put on hold by former KPL side Migori Youth with 2-0 victory at Muhoroni stadium. The win has incraesd the chances of Migori to return to the top flight football.
In other matches played yesterday, other KPL side Muhoroni Youth were 1-2 winners against newbies Naivas FC at the Camp Toyoyo while Mully Children family ran riot, thrashing Coastal Heroes 6-0 at Thika stadium and Gusii United were 3-2 winners against SS Assad.
In today’s matches, Murang’a Seal defeated Mombasa Elite 3-0 at the Mbaraki stadium as Shabana were 2-1 winners over Kisumu AllStars at narok stadium.
Former KPL side Vihiga United came from a goal di=own to down Kibera Black Stars 2-1 at Mumias Sports complex.
