Vivian Corazon Aquino scored a brace when Simba Queens thumbed AS Kigali in the ongoing CECAFA Regional CAF women qualifiers in Tanzania.
The Harambee Starlets striker who plays for top Tanzanian side Simba managed to score two goals in the 5-1 win against the Rwandese.
Aquino started the goal marathon in the 15th minute but Mukeshimana Dorothee equalized in the 20th minute but Opah Clement restored Simba’s 2-1 lead in the 30th minute and Aisha Juma extended the lead to 3-1 in the 39th minute.
The former Vihiga Queens top scorer bagged her brace in the in the 47th minute and Diana William sealed the victory in the 84th minutes.
Following the victory at the semifinals, they will now face She Corperates at the finals following their 2-1 victory against Ethiopian side Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE)
CBE lost in the final of the qualifiers last year to vihiga Queens of Kenya at Kasarani.
