Holders Argentina and Switzerland eliminated Egypt and Colombia to qualify into the quarterfinals of the ongoing FIFA World Cup co-hosted by Canada, USA and Mexico.
Argentina came from 2-0 down to down Egypt 3-2 at the final whistle in a dramatic style.
Yasser Ibrahim netted first for Egypt in the 15th minute in the first half before Mostafa Zico doubled Pharaoh’s lead with 2-0 in the 67th minute.
But in a dramatic way, Cristian Romero halved the score in the 79th minute before Lionel Messi leveled in the 83rd minute as Enzo Fernandez scoring the winning goal in the 90+3 minutes.
In a final qualifier, Switzerland needed post match penalties to book for the slot.
Switzerland played out to a barren draw against Colombia when the former won in 4-3.
