Athletics Kenya President Jack Tuwei has assured athletes that they will continue training even after the Confederation of Africa Athlertics postponed the Africa cross country champuionsps that were slated for 7th March in Lome, Togo.
With the athletes already in camp at the Kigari Teachers Training College in Embu, Tuwei said the 42 athletes will remain in camp until CAA the air on certain issues about the rescheduling of the championships.
On Wednesday, CAA announced that Togolese authorities had requested for a postponement of the event to a later date as the West African nation continues due to coronavirus pandemic.
