Athletics Kenya in conjunction with Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) have advocated for clean sports among under 20 athletes in the ongoing seminars.
Today, the junior athletes from Central Rift region attended the anti-doping seminar in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County to eradicate the doping menace, age manipulation, transfer of allegiance, illegal betting, bribery and corruption, competition manipulation, harassment among others.
AIU education officer Sally Guest presented her topics in the projected teaching to the junior runners.
Athletes representative Milcah Chemos said that it is high time athletes stop going for easy cash because the system has become tight and they will be nabbed.
“The federation and AIU will continue spreading the gospel of clean sports and the doping menace must come to an end,” said Chemos, the 2013 World 3,000m steeplechase champion.
