Athletics Kenya has called postponed the planned Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) under 20/18 trials that set for Friday and Saturday at the Nyayo national stadium.
The federation today, in a statement said that the trials are considered a World Athletics Competition and must therefore be held in a standard stadium, Kasarani and Nyayo in this case
The governing body also urged athletes with no passports to start the process of acquiring one and advised school-going athletes to be cleared by their school principal and their birth certificates verified by their school before vetting day.
The upcoming trials will be used to select athletes to represent Kenya at the Africa U18 and U20 Athletics championships that will be held from April 29 –May 5 in Lusaka, Zambia.
