Awuor win KLGU chairman Sarah Hoare title at Vetlab

Ashley Awuor produced a superlative performance to win the Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) chairman’s prize, the Sarah Hoare title played at the Royal Nairobi Golf over the weekend.

Playing handicap 5, Awuor fired 73 gross for the title on a crowded field.

Kitale club’s Naomi Wafula led the Division A with a score of 74 gross leading Agnes Nyakio by a shot to 75 as Mercy Nyanchama came third on 76 gross. Division B winner was Ruth Omwansa on 95 gross beating Faith Githaiga on countback and Virginia Munyao as Naomi Wambui was fourth on 96 gross.

Net title went to was Aisha Duba on 68 nett, beating Nancy Wairimu by one shot, while in third place was Mukami Wangai on 71 nett followed by Grace Kibe took the fourth prize also on 71 nett.
