Adel Balala fired one under par 72 in the second round to maintain the lead at the Kenya Amateur Strokeplay championships currently happening at the par 73 Nakuru golf club.
After he made a four under par 69 in the first round on Thursday, cumulatively, the Nyali based golfer has mnaged five under par 141 to lead series leader Michael Karanga by a shot heading into tomorrow’s third and penultimate round of the 72 hole tournament with the winner earning an automatic slot to play at the 2022 magical Kenya Open.
Karanga from Kaimbu County was the best of the day with his six under par 68 to move to second on four under par 142 with Kenya Railways’ John Lejirma completing the podium with one under par 144.
