Balala retain Kabete Open title at Vetlab

Nyali’s Adel Balala defeated his Kaabete Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) at the par 72 Vet Lab Sports Club today.

The golfer fired four over par 2022 to retain the title he won last year ahead of All Africa Championships that tees off next week in Cairo, Egypt.

He said that the team will be leaving on Saturday for the Cairo championships that tees off on 26^th to 29^th September.

“Retaining my title was not easy. I had a few challenges on the course but that did not stop me from winning back to back,” said Balala.
