Sportpesa Shield Cup champions Bandari will open their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round against Al Ahly Shandy.
Bandari, who was edged out of the CECAFA Kagame Cup in group stages will be facing with Sudan’s side as they seek to enter in group stages.
The Bernard Mwalala led side will be making a return to the continental competition for the first time since 2016 when they were eliminated by DR Congo side St Eloi Lupopo.
The aggregate winner will face either Tunisia’s US Ben Guerdane or South Sudan’s Amarat in the next round before setting up groups.
